Round timing that stays on track
The timer checks the current time against the planned end of each round or rest period, helping it recover if the browser briefly delays an update. It supports warm-up, round, rest and warning transitions, with optional sound, vibration, wake lock and full-screen or focus-mode controls.
The World Boxing Elite/U19 and U17 options are rule-derived presets. The Muay Thai and MMA options are editable training examples, not universal competition settings. Amateur or professional status, age, class, governing body, event and local commission rules can all change round and rest formats. Fully custom timings do not claim a governing rule.

Boxing Timer FAQ
What official World Boxing presets are included?
Elite/U19 uses three three-minute rounds with one-minute rests; U17 uses three two-minute rounds with one-minute rests. Always verify the current event rules before use.
Are the Muay Thai and MMA presets official?
No. They are editable training starting points because sanctioning bodies, class levels and event rules use different round and rest formats.
How does the timer reduce drift?
It calculates remaining time from a monotonic target timestamp instead of assuming every callback arrives exactly one second later.
Will the timer stay accurate in a background tab?
It recalculates elapsed time when the page resumes, but the browser can delay visual updates, bells and vibration while a tab or device is suspended.
What happens when a round or rest phase ends?
The state machine advances to the next configured phase, updates the round counter and issues enabled cues. Pause and resume retain the current phase.
Does screen wake always work?
No. Wake Lock support depends on browser capability, permissions and device state. The timer continues with a fallback when the lock is unavailable.
