How the plate solver works
The target is the complete loaded bar, including the selected bar weight. The calculator subtracts the bar, divides the remaining mass equally between both sleeves and searches only the plate pairs entered in the inventory.

Does the target weight include the bar?
Yes. In ToolBullet the target is the complete loaded bar including the selected bar weight. If collar mass must be included, add it through the custom bar value.
Is 100 kg the maximum load?
No. It is only the default example. The maximum achievable total depends on the bar and the number and size of plate pairs entered in the inventory.
What happens if my gym cannot make the exact weight?
The calculator reports the closest achievable total and the nearest totals below and above. Choose an appropriate alternative rather than loading the sleeves unevenly.
Why does the calculator require equal plates on both sides?
A barbell should be loaded symmetrically. Unequal sleeve loads alter balance and are not a safe arithmetic shortcut for an unavailable target.
Are collars included automatically?
No. Bars and collars vary. When collar weight is part of the required total, use a custom bar value equal to the bar plus both collars.
Should every warm-up use the same percentages?
No. Percentages organise jumps, but the exercise, working load, training history, fatigue and readiness should determine the final sequence.
