Shuffling uses secure browser pseudorandomness and operates on grapheme clusters where supported. It does not guarantee a different permutation, and it is not an anagram solver or encryption method.

How is text scrambled?
The tool shuffles Unicode grapheme clusters using the browser Web Crypto API. In each-word mode, whitespace is preserved and each non-whitespace token is shuffled separately.
Can the original word sometimes appear unchanged?
Yes. An unbiased shuffle can legitimately return the original order, especially for short strings or strings with repeated characters.
Can this tool unscramble or solve words?
No. It only randomises the entered characters and does not search a dictionary or recover an original word.
What happens to spaces in Shuffle all mode?
Whitespace is removed before all remaining grapheme clusters are shuffled. Use each-word mode to preserve spacing.
